Visiting Planet Bordeaux

In the Beychac-et-Caillau commune in the Gironde in southwestern France, you'll find Planet Bordeaux which is both the headquarters for the winemakers association and a recommended place for you to begin your tasting tour of the Bordeaux wine region. I visited there in the fall and was surprised to discover that behind the nondescript entrance was a unique and thoroughly modern wine experience waiting for me.
In addition to housing the association, Planet Bordeaux is also the tourist center for the wines from the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur wine appellations. They have guides to help out visitors and can do tours in several languages. They offer attractions like educational exhibits and audio/visual installations covering a range of wine-related subjects along with wine tastings and cooking classes. The center can help with the planning of visits to local chateaux as well. It is not just for wine consumers and tourists, it is also a hub for visiting wine professionals from around the world.

Following the tour, you are invited to an exceptional retail experience. The wine cellar at Planet Bordeaux is expansive and includes the best from the appellations, all offered at the same price as at the Châteaux. They will also box the wines for you so they are suitable to withstand the perils of travel.

You will find the hours they are opened via the link and you can email them with any questions you may have about setting up a visit at https://www.planete-bordeaux.fr/en/contact .

  1. Travelling can be very relaxing especially if you live in the big cities where there is a lot of dust and pollution and there is really nothing much that you can do about it. The most important part about traveling is packing, and if you are traveling by road then it plays a major role. Most of the people have no idea of packing while they are going on a trip and that might even cause some issues while you are on the journey

THAILAND IS AMONG the most talked-about destinations on the planet, though what people have to say varies dramatically. Some travelers come home claiming to have found themselves on long, white-gold beaches; others turn up their noses at the Thai islands, claiming they’ve been overrun by backpackers. Still others rave about the diving, mountain scenery, and world-class cuisine — it just depends where you go. Whether your interests align more with nature or culture, early mornings or late nights, the Land of Smiles has something for every type of traveler. From dazzling coastal resorts to bustling interior cities to quiet spots up north, these are the top places to visit, or discover, in Thailand.https://catmotors.net/routes/doi-inthanon-national-park/ Khao Sok National Park in southern Thailand hosts one of the world’s oldest rainforests, said to predate even the Amazon. The park’s impressive biodiversity is heavy on hefty land mammals like elephants, boars, bear species, tapirs, monkeys, and marbled cats, whose habitats weave between thick tree canopies and lush jungle, punctuated by karst mountains and the stunning Cheow Lan Lake at the heart of the park. Unplug on a four-day rainforest safari, three-day jungle lake safari, or two-day jungle safari for activities like hiking, canoeing, and bird-watching alongside cultural perks like dance performances and cooking demos in the evening.https://catmotors.net/routes/pai/

Sculpted in Steel - A Luxury Automobile Showcase from the Art Deco Era

Whether you are visiting the city of Houston or live here full time, if you are a car lover, there is one thing to do this spring that is a must-do.  Visit the Museum of Fine Arts Houston to check out the temporary luxury art deco automobile exhibit, Sculpted in Steel .  I toured the display recently and was impressed by the array.  This collection is   a showcase of seventeen cars and motorcycles designed between 1929 -1940. These vehicles are more than art cars or show cars, they are true art deco masterpieces. The museum has great information about the period and designers throughout the exhibit.  Go sooner rather than later, they will only be on display until May 30, 2016.

Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows - Santa Monica

Refreshment on the patio of the Lobby Lounge My husband and I stayed at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows with our adult daughter this summer after her graduation from a Masters program at Claremont Graduate University. We wanted to be near the beach but still be able to easily get into Los Angeles to visit some of the tourist attractions. This was our first time to stay at a Fairmont Hotel . I chose the Miramar for its ocean views and its proximity to the Santa Monica Pier and the beach. It has a long history with a Hollywood connection, it has been a destination of the stars for almost a century. After looking over the various room options, I decided that the Palisade King Suite would easily accommodate us. My husband and I shared a private bedroom and our daughter got the fold out couch in the living room. The six story Palisades wing which housed our room is a historic part of the property that was built in 1924. For a more luxe experience, you can also book a pool
