When I heard about Peska opening, I wanted to go immediately. Mexican coastal cuisine, premium seafood and a superstar chef, of course, I wanted to go immediately. Travel kept me away longer than I would have liked so when my husband asked where I would like to dine on my birthday, I knew immediately that we were going to Peska. One birthday celebration later, I am happy to report that it did not disappoint. I found Peska to have fresh, innovative cuisine in a sophisticated setting in Uptown Houston with a fantastic wine list that works perfectly with the menu. We enjoyed an assortment of tasty appetizers, a decadent mixed seafood grill and delicious donuts. We were celebrating, so Ruinart Champagne was our choice to wash it all down. This was our first time here but it will not be the last. We loved everything about our first experience, we can't wait to come back and see what else we may have missed.
